BE A VOLUNTEER
Often, the most valuable gift is your presence. There’s nothing quite like the joy you’ll get from helping those in need and being part of their community.
You can volunteer to run an activity for children, share a skill or hobby, host an event or simply listen to and help guide one of our youths. There are many other ways you can contribute, so have a chat with us and we can figure it out together.
Whether you’re after a little CSR or good deed plus points, come join us in serving over 10,000 households that we have reached out to. We’d love to have you on board.
If you can’t find the answer to your question in our FAQ below, just ask us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
We also run Basic Befriender Trainings once a month on either a Tuesday evening (7pm – 9:30pm) or Saturday morning (10am – 12:30pm) for volunteers who are keen to be befrienders or wish to work more closely with children and youths in our community. Unlike Volunteer Orientation, our Basic Befriender Training is compulsory for prospective befrienders. The training will cover roles, ethics, values, and processes of being a befriender.
You may sign up for either/both trainings on our Events Calendar.
For most opportunities, training will be provided on the ground by our staff members specific to the needs and requirements of each volunteering activity.
